Charles Lawson had a born again experience in 1970 at the First Baptist Church in Bakersfield, California.
This brought dramatic changes in his life. Soon after he was baptized in water and filled with the Holy Spirit.

This all happened during the Charismatic renewal, during a time surrounded by family, friends and gifted mentors who poured truth and love into him… thrusting him into the ministry of evangelism in the marketplace and local churches.
In 1995 Charles answered the call to the Middle East and with his wife Sunny in-hand took up residence in Jerusalem, Israel. Over the next 5 years they poured into the Jewish people the love of Christ, experiencing the language and culture, and walking where Jesus walked.
