Founder and CEO of the multimillion-dollar technology firm CyberSynchs LLC Amos Winbush III made his first visit to Jamaica as the guest speaker at the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA), biennial fundraising gala in Montego Bay.

Flair caught up with Winbush, who told us that his path to becoming a leader in the tech field was quite accidental.

"I never actually set out to own a company. In fact, I was in the music business as a singer/songwriter. But the saying, 'innovation stems from necessity' is absolutely true," he explained.

He told Flair that the idea for his company was born after his mobile phone crashed and he lost all his data.

"There was a need in the market. I wanted to fill that market because I know that if I was having that problem, then there had to be millions of people who were having the exact same issues, so it was my responsibility to build CyberSynchs."
